Club Activities
There are many choices for Kiwanians to become involved in our club's mission to "serve youth and families with compassionate generosity in the greater Stevens Point community".
Informative Lunch Meeting Program |
Members invite guest speakers from the community to present interesting and informative programs at the weekly lunch meetings.
Club funds are used to present gift certificates and framed awards to one deserving sixth grade student from each of 12 area public and parochial grade schools every school year.
Nonperishable Food Collection |
Members donate items to Operation Bootstrap's food pantry.
Bowl for Kids' Sake
Up to 10 members form two bowling teams to participate in a pledge-based fundraiser for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Portage County. Club members make pledges to support the two teams.
Green Circle Trail |
Members volunteer to keep a stretch of the Green Circle (from Chase Bank to Bukolt Park) litter-free.
Korn Roast for Kids |
Members volunteer at the club's popular fundraiser, selling roasted corn and other food items at Riverfront Rendezvous.
Gumball Machines |
Machines located throughout Stevens Point provide fundraising income.
IDD Canisters |
Members donate to the salt canisters located at the lunch tables. All proceeds are sent to Kiwanis International to help fight Iodine Deficiency Disease in developing countries. |

Every December, Kiwanians brave the chilly weather to help 'ring the bell' at a local business. | |
