Continuing the Cause
Our club was proud to sponsor and be involved with many community service and fundraising activities, as well as providing grants to many community partners. All served to improve the quality of life in our area. Please help us continue our efforts through the Kiwanis Club of Stevens Point & Plover Legacy Fund at the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin (CFCW).

Past Service Initiatives
We recognize and present awards to one deserving sixth grade student from each of the eleven area public and private elementary/middle schools every school year.
Kiwanis Kare Kits We provide basic personal hygiene products to the youth-in-need of our area. In the past this was administered through a school district liaison. Currently, we have partnered with United Way for their tremendous help. Literacy This is a service initiative we hope to reinvigorate in the coming year. We welcome your suggestions. Past Fundraising
Kids From Wisconsin Concert
This represents our major fundraiser. Held each July, it provides a fun event for the whole family! Thanks to the generous support of many local businesses and individuals, the concert has been a huge success in our community for over 30 years. Kiwanis Peanut Day A long-standing Kiwanis tradition, the Peanut Day Sale is held in the fall of each year. Get your peanuts--and help Kiwanis and the kids of our community! Hot Dog Day This is both a fundraiser (donations accepted) and a way to serve up complimentary food to our young athletes. |
