Our Activities and Service
Our club is proud to sponsor and be involved with many community service and fundraising activities, as well as providing grants to many community partners. All serve to improve the quality of life in our area.
Our club has chosen three areas of focus for our Service Initiatives. Broadly, these fall under Leadership, Life Needs, and Literacy.
Below, please find our grant application and some of our most recent grants, as well as service and fundraising information. We also encourage you to check out our club's Facebook page to see what we've been up to lately--just click the Facebook icon on the upper-right.

Service Initiatives
We recognize and present awards to one deserving sixth grade student from each of the eleven area public and private elementary/middle schools every school year.
Kiwanis Kare Kits We provide basic personal hygiene products to the youth-in-need of our area. In the past this was administered through a school district liaison. Currently, we have partnered with United Way for their tremendous help. Literacy This is a service initiative we hope to reinvigorate in the coming year. We welcome your suggestions. Fundraising
Kids From Wisconsin Concert
This represents our major fundraiser. Held each July, it provides a fun event for the whole family! Thanks to the generous support of many local businesses and individuals, the concert has been a huge success in our community for over 30 years. Kiwanis Peanut Day A long-standing Kiwanis tradition, the Peanut Day Sale is held in the fall of each year. Get your peanuts--and help Kiwanis and the kids of our community! Hot Dog Day This is both a fundraiser (donations accepted) and a way to serve up complimentary food to our young athletes. |
