Kiwanis Kare Kits
Thanks to supporters, and with sponsorship by Delta Dental, our club supplies hygiene products and lice kits for elementary students in the Stevens Point Public School District. School personnel (mostly social workers or school nurses) distribute items to students on the basis of need. Items of greatest need include toothpaste and toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, lice kits and feminine hygiene products. Also supplied were winter gloves and mittens, underwear, and socks. We supply almost 1000 items each year.
